EndureData Releases a Solution for Ransomware Removal and Recovery

Ransomware removal reporters have been reporting a diverse range of ransomware attacks in several industries and institutions including hospitals, educational institutions, financial corporations, and governments. One of them was the attack on Atlanta that immobilized certain parts of their systems. The attack was estimated to cost Atlanta’s authorities almost $3 million. Since 2015, the damages incurred in ransomware attacks have been increasing and each year ends with bigger damages. With many businesses refusing to report and disclose the attacks, ransomware removal analysts fear the actual facts and figures of damages to be a lot greater. This is where companies like EndureData come in to provide management of data.

The Solution

The onus has now fallen on IT vendors to create solutions that can help to negate these attacks. One of them, EndureData, a company that deals with provides management and replication of data, has released its EDpCloud™ software. The software can be used by OpenBSD OS as well as Linux distributions, Windows versions, and Mac. Additionally, according to ransomware removal experts, the availability of a disaster-tolerance solution was also part of the company’s announcement that will assist businesses and institutions to combat the recent rampage of ransomware campaigns.

The founder of Endure Data Aba El Haddi stated that the integration with OpenBSD was crucial in order to assist users to tackle cyber threats effectively. Moreover, he was confident that with the disaster-tolerance solution, an organization will be able to easily restore and resume its pre-ransomware attack operations.

Furthermore, the damages and expenses associated with such attacks are expected to decrease while productivity will increase as the downtime will also be reduced with the advent of the solution. In addition, Mr. El Haddi motivated and recommended organizations for the implementation of strategies that can only not safeguard them against ransomware but also aid to withstand a breach.

The ransomware removal and recovery solution were designed with input from industry professionals including security analyst, database administrators and system administrators. Feedback was also obtained from sufferers of ransomware attacks.
